Making transfers

Overview

Momentum transfers money from a funding source to a funding destination.

Both the source and destination consist of a customer and an external account. The customer is the end-user, and can be either a person or a business. The external account is a bank account associated with the customer. Before you can create a transfer, all of the customers and external accounts must be verified.

To make a payout transfer, in which funds move from your Momentum ledger balance to an end-user, you only have to create a customer and external account for the the funding destination (the end-user).
